The Switch Over cylinder allows rotation and/or non-rotation by changing the lever from lock to unlock position.
Unlock: Rotation and height adjustment works available when pushing the lever down.
Lock: Not rotating but height adjustment works available when pushing the lever up. (torque 30Nm)
This is used in a variety of different applications. Sometimes used for seating aids or examination seats.
